Leone Industries is a leading producer of clear (flint, soda lime) glass containers. We produce a wide variety of bottles and jars with capacities from 2 fluid ounces up to 70 fluid ounces and closures from 20mm to 89mm. We have a large selection of containers and regularly design and manufacture proprietary containers to meet our customers requirements.

The New Container Process, from concept to shipment

We are constantly creating new containers. Some are proprietary (dedicated to one company's use) and some are created with the knowledge that they would be open for sale to others whether partially restricted or not. Once the design concept is finalized, we move to modeling and cad drawings. With the design finished and approved, we would produce a unit sample which allows the customer a few cases of containers to use for photo shoots, line setup and capacity approval. We do this by creating of a partial set of moulds, shutting an entire production line down and running a small portion of the forming machine in near production-like conditions with this new unit mould equipment. Once approved, we finish the full set of moulds and schedule production; all the while finalizing specifications and the secondary packaging.
